  2. What a beautifully carved doll. They are very rare in the States due to the lack of snow, so you caught this one just right!

  3. Hi Tiggy! More snow!! We've just had one of the most snowless winters in decades!
What a wonderful Inuit doll! It's a good job she's well wrapped up, you wouldn't want her to catch cold! Do you know how old the doll is?
    Kind regards, Brian.

I have been researching her, and do know she is old and her Beaver Tail Parka does locate her to Baffin Island, but so far I have not seen in any book, nor museum such an amazing carver - Still hoping I will learn more about her! TiGGy sends LuV :)

    1. Thank you so Very Much Nymphea, I heartily agree and really hope to learn more about her. I have bought books on Inuit dolls and have been searching museum images to learn more as her carving is so very distinctive. So far I have learned alot about Inuit dolls, but not found her carver. From what I have learned so far, I do believe she may well have been carved by and for a loved one in their likeness, which was occasionally done, but not often sold, so she is truly a treasure - Thank you for Enjoying her ~ TiGGy is Thrilled you like her Inuit Friend and Sends LuV! :)
