Awwww, Frankie is adorable! He/she looks like a cat I had a few years ago. Her name was Zoe and she was a "Seal Point Applehead Siamese." She had the beautiful blue eyes also.
Bama - I have never heard of that and will see if maybe thats what Frankie is. TiGGy sang her out of the woods along I95 on New Years eve by a Cracker Barrel of all places, there were a bunch of feral cats but all the rest I saw were albino. She is so sweet and such a cuddle bunny that I really worried over her surgery, but she does seem to be doing remarkably well - and pretty darned patient with that cone too!
Do you have any pictures of Zoe? I would so very much love to see pictures of her if possible, I can't get over how attached we all have become to her. Thank you for sharing about Zoe - TiGGy is lighting a special candle for her!
Hi Tiggy, I had Zoe long before digital cameras so I only have a few old style photos of her, and they are somewhere in storage. Zoe was also a stray and only a few months old when I got her. I had never seen a cat with markings & coloring like her until then. So I did some research and found out what she was. I think she may have gotten lost from her original owner, but she had no identification. All I could do was love her and take care of her. She was an awesome kitty! You can probably find lots of info if you google Applehead Aiamese. The applehead refers to the head shape, because it is different than a normal Siamese. Their markings are more tabby-like as well. These cats are bred to be this way. I hope this info helps. Hugs!
YuP Argentto - shaved tummy - I don't know why I wasn't expecting that?! I sure wasn't expecting her to have to wear a cone for Two weeks! Frankie is being quite incredibly patient with all of it, and has been her little cuddle bunny self ever since she got home. I was so afraid the surgery would change her temperament or something - as she actually went into heat Just before it! But she seems her mellow happy self now Thank Goodness! TiGGs appreciates the extra Healing Dusties help - we missed her sooo much while she was away! Thank YoU!
Thank You Maria - we are kind of head over heels crazy about Frankie too here, even my brother and husband just can't get enough of her - and of course TiGGy is having a great time showing her all the secret nooks and fun places to play around here LOL!
